Sea Duck Collage

Postby Cougar125 » Mon Dec 23, 2013 12:43 am

Ok. Trying to keep it relatively simple, but I want to do a Sea Duck Collage when the year is over with. I was wondering if anybody had any pictures or ideas of how best to do it while making it look great. It will be 8 species (listed below). Obviously, pictures are beneficial, even if they only have most of the birds.

Thus far I have the following birds in my freezer:
D Harlequin, D Old Squaw, D Surf Scoter, D Common GE, D Bufflehead

Before season end I intend to add:
D White Wing Scoter, D Common Scoter, D Barrows GE

Thanks!

I like this idea. Never happen and totally unrealistic, but I like it!

I did 6 on a log for someone but to me it was wasting nice looking birds. There isn't a good way to make them all look good since you basically are cramming a bunch of birds on a log. A simple dead mount on Barnwood would still enable you to show off each birds characteristics in a reasonably small space plus being able to add misc nick nacs.... Crab claws, netting, shotgun hulls, etc
