Looking at that bird again, that might be the finest example of a can I have ever seen! I am drooling. I hunt the infamous pool 9 on the Mississippi river here in Wisconsin. We have a layover spot that will see thousands upon thousands rated in the big water feeding on wild celery. The unfortunate thing is, they leave around December 1st. I mean it's a pretty spectacular sight seeing 100,000 birds in front of your boat blind, but they are maybe 60 to 70% plumed. So they are fun to watch but not normally a trophy like that beautiful bird you were lucky enough to shoot.
