Very nice!!! Really like the way that decoy came out. Simple but still really stands out. As far as the smell those things are horrible. They get nasty nasal drainiage once dead.

I'm a fan of the coyote also.
That buck is huge compared to our runts down here.

Sprig my mom would get pretty mad if I skinned a sea duck in the house she can barely stand the puddle ducks  . Saving the Harlequin and long tail for Shane's this summer.
Hopefully going to get my first up for critique in the next few days. Bear with me he will NOT be pretty. Looks like Swiss cheese :fingerhead: any quicker alternatives to sewing.
Also I bought a freezer today not frost free. Good or bad?

Tryingtaxi- yes a frost free freezer would be bad. You want a manual defrost(one that frosts up). Don't worry about what your bird looks like. It takes guts to post up first birds, take the critiques straight to the bank and use them to improve on each bird. And yes there are alternatives to sewing but you do not wanna go down that road yet. Good luck.

I have yet to do my second bird, but that comes from my work/deployment schedule. I learned a lot doing my first bird and want to take what I learned to the second bird.

Slow? Understatement of the century!

That green-winged teal is a super-stud!

I noticed since the new mod took over, it slowed up immensely? Do you think he's intimidating everyone with his awesome skill set?

Nice work Brandon. You my friend, have a bright future!
