I would say so, I love the look of a nice grey duck. Imo all birds are worth mounting if they are feathered out. I plan on doing pairs of all the N American birds.

I think Gadwall are definitely worth mounting. As far as which ducks are best for mounting, I think any duck that is special to you, for whatever reason, is worth mounting. This is a gadwall that I just sent to Birdman Studios

It all falls on personal opinion. Some people want one of everything for a collection. Others just like this or that because of coloration or for being part of a specific memory. For me every different species comes with specific characteristics worthy of a mount.

The question should be what YOU think

I too dropped a Gadwall of a month or so back that was a bruiser. Prettiest one I have ever taken. After this seasons ducks are back from the taxi, I will have my flock up to 20-21. Wife is going to kill me when I bring 6 more home.... OOpsssssssss

It's all in your opinion. I saw a guy get a hen spoonie mounted. Here's a mount-worthy Gadwall from November

Definitely worth it in my opinion! I was an idiot and passed up a bird like the one above. His head was dark brown with a purple sheen to it, great looking feathers, and a large body. It's all up to the hunter though! Mount what you like.
