How Long in the Freezer?

I am trying to get a puddler duck dead mount going....but until i get the ducks i want, i am leaving the couple i do have in the freezer


i should get my last 2 ducks sometime this season but if not how long is a duck good for in the freezer before gettin messed up?? or freezer burn??

It could be as long as a coulpe years.

If they're gonna be in the freezer awhile, I've had good luck with wrapping a wet papertowel around their feet to keep away the freezer burn demons. Ziploc 'em, and squeeze out as much air as possible :thumbsup:
I completed a bird not long ago that had been in the freezer for 5 years, just in a plastic ziplock. The feet were nuked, and the face/head was dry, but I was able to rehydrate that.
