Anyone have any pics of recent mounts. I'm still waiting on my sprig that I sent out in April. I'll post pics as soon as it's in.

p.s. thought I'd add a little poll

The only ducks I need right now, are the drake BWT, drake and hen Greater Scaup, Barrows Goldeneye, Harlequin, and King Eider. I'm going out to Alaska to the Kodiak Island in 2006 to get all those birds minus the BWT. So the bird I'd choose for this season would be the drake BWT. We shoot a bunch of them early season, but usually the first bird to migrate, and I've never got one in good color. Went out yesterday and put out our three blinds, and seen a few BWT and a ton of Mallards. The tornados that we recently had, ripped up the area we hunt pretty hard. Debris floating everywhere! One of the spots we hunt looks like a big log-jam, so I don't know how hunting is going to be in that perticular area. When do you expect Todd to be done with your Pintail, and what type of mount are you having done? I have a bull in the freezer skinned and fleshed, ready to mount. I'm thinking of going for the "getting off the water" mount. Have a good season Cast! Pete

Hey Pete,
I emailed Todd today, so I hope to find out soon. I was looking through my emails & I guess I sent it out the 1st of March, so I'm hoping to have it back soon. Funny you should mention the "getting off the water" pose, cause thats exactly what I'm having done. A nice wall mount with some cattails as a backdrop will be the perfect addition to my office area. I wish you luck on the BWT this season. Hopefully your log situation doesn't put a damper on the birds. Let me know how you did after the early season.

Here's another duck my buddy is working on for our DU banquet. It's a great looking, very mature Gadwall drake. I think these ducks are a great looking bird. Some people think they are plain, but when they are this mature, I like them alot.

Post some pics when you get it back. I've got a spoonbill drake & hen pair at his shop that will probably be next. Either that or my greenhead drake.

 I hope that woodie that your looking to get mounted is a duck.
