Looking for a Hunt

Postby northzoneguy » Mon Feb 06, 2006 4:29 pm

A couple buddies and I are looking to shoot some snows. I was wondering if we would be best to contact a guide or try and find someone to take us under there wing to maybe show us the ropes and then try it on our own. We have layout blinds lots of texas rags and lots of snow goose shells, that I bought from a guy getting out of hunting.

If none of you have never been Snow hunting, then a guide can be a good 1st hand learning experience. Maybe try 2 guides as them may have a differents approaches. After that, then go free lance since you have the gear..
