P.S. Olt SB-29 Snow/Blue Goose Call

Postby Cariboo Game Calls » Thu Jan 05, 2012 12:12 pm

I should have posted this in the snow goose forum instead of the ducks however here it is now: :fingerhead:

Just wondering if anyone else besides me has a rare P.S. Olt SB-29 Snow/Blue Goose Call, and if anyone knows where there is information to be found about them. There apparently weren't many of them ever made and I've only seen one of them up for sale on Ebay.

I believe I bought mine back in the 70's and unfortunaly never saved the box which was a mistake, but I did hang on to the instruction sheet. I talked to a fellow some time ago who had links to the Sonderman family and he told me there weren't many of these calls ever made because they weren't a big seller and they were discontinued not long after first going into production.

Some of you may have seen the white P.S. Olt D-2's being sold off on Ebay one
at a time by the same seller to try and keep the buyer interest and prices up
regarding their rarity. I believe these were probably run off with the left over
white plastic stock when the SB-29 calls were discontinued. If anyone has any
knowledge about these calls or has an empty box for one I would be interested
in hearing about it.

I have one, but use the barrel for my speck call. Still have the original insert untouched. PM me and will discuss more.
