Outfitters in Texas for Snows.

Postby Duck_Popper » Sun Jul 01, 2012 11:07 pm

I am planning a special hunt this season to go shoot some snows in Texas. My girlfriends father has always wanted to make the trip, so I figured this was the year for me to make it happen. (When I set my mind to something I make it happen). For this trip it will be me, my girlfriend, her father, and her uncle.

I have a timeshare with over 46 locations in Texas so Lodging won't be an issue. Also, I have family members that work for southwest, so airfare is covered.

What I do need from y'all is advice and input on:

What outfitter has the best rep in Texas for guided snow hunts? Any referrals?

What time of year is best?

Also, any other additional info you have is greatly appreciated.
Duck Popper: Congrats man and guess you need to change your name to "Duck Poppa"

I had a BAD experience in Texas with Third Coast Outfitters, run by Bobby Hale. I dont even know if he is still in business but, I would never go with that bunch again.
