Painting blues

Hey guys i have some old canada shells and some economy sillo socks left to paint and i was wondering is there away to paint blues? We live in the atlantic flyway so not alot of blues but we see a few, and we would like to mix in a dozen or so in our spread....thanks!

I converted some homemade canada silos as I had too many canadas and not enough blues. the contasting colors do work.

Doesn't take much, white head, brown/grey body, some feather detail.
