Rags.....Worth it?

Postby yellodog1 » Sat Sep 09, 2006 4:47 pm

Possibly going Snow hunting this fall. I dont go that often, once every few years. That being the case I dont want to spend the money on decoys. Usually where we go, they have 50 that you can use. Is it worth it to get some rag decoys to add in to the mix?
How do they work, or should I save my money?

They work in south TX if you got about 500-1000 of em' and plenty of shooters.

On hunts that require a large number of dekes, I set out probably 400 rags + other decoys that we use. They seem to work just fine, and can give you large numbers for somewhat small cash outlay.
