Goose Magnets

Postby portahunter » Tue Sep 26, 2006 5:18 pm

Anybody ever tried using the goose magnets for snow geese. Friend got ahold of some and was wondering if they be worth his time using them. I think I'm going to stick with duck hunting. I keep getting too much flack for wanting to get 2 or 3 dozen fullbody snows and I don't have the time or patience for rags or silosocks. I shot em if they fly over within range.

I am not for sure how they work for snows, yet I used to use the Canada ones a bit, if it was windy they added alot of movement to the spread so they would most likely be worth a try. Now I've moved away from those though and found better means of adding movement to the spread. My new method consists of the the foot pedistals that you can insert your FB into and it makes a motion like the bird is feeding they are real slick.
