Failed decoy hunt...Successful sneak

Postby johnsonthehunter » Mon Nov 11, 2013 11:47 pm

Got up super early got our 70 texas rags set up and 3 doesen shells, and all of the snows flew about 80 yards over our spread and kept on going for miles! It was pretty cool seeing that many birds fly directly over you though. So we packed up and set off to find out where they went, and sure enough they were in a field we had permission to hunt! A half hour and a long belly crawl later my buddy and I were 20 yards from the flock! We stood up and we knocked down exactly 8 birds! (the limit in WA is 4 a person) so it was just perfect!
