Does anybody have recent numbers on goose arrivals in ND this Fall?
I listen to Jamestown and Devils Lake on the Net, and am hearing reports
of scattered sightings. I'm heading up from Florida the 16th of Oct and haven't been able to locate a report from ND Game & Fish.
Likely will see larger numbers after this first of the season passes. Radar really shows it's a big one.

A bumper hatch of young goslings is what I had heard. You may be going up too early. Traditionally Oct 26 was peak. But not near as many snows come into ND like they did 10+ years ago as they skip over ND mostly now.
Radar stufff---very unlikely in the fall as generally that are the swarms heading north in the spring. Meaning I sure do not rely on it in the fall. On the ground sightings is the best way to know where they are. BTW the main #s are not even down from the Artic into CA yet.
