what should i do with my call?

Postby kms399 » Tue Oct 25, 2005 6:18 pm

Ok i have watched the video about 20 times and i cant get it the way i want it. i paid alot of money for this call to not like it. so what i am wondering is what should i do, trade it, try to sell it on ebay. i bought it in august and it is in perfect shape. i have tried to contact zink to buy new reeds for it but have gotten no response as of yet. i am hell on geese with my other short reed but want something that will let me cluck very fast give me a mid range tone with a little rasp thrown in. please help. :pissed:

I hate to tell you this now, but I've heard of many hunters who've found Zink calls hard to really get running right. Biggest complaint I've heard is that it takes alot of air to get it going. Have you tried tuning it? It's easy to do, once you get the hang of it.

i don't what to tell ya man. everybody blows a call a little different. what works for me, might not work for you. i love my zink calls. killed alot of geese with my SR-1, and now i just the new money maker. if you just can't get what you wan out of the call then sell it on ebay. i've done that a time or two.

If its a zink sr-1 let me know and ill take it off your hands if you want to sell it! but kidding aside, everyone blows different calls differently. I picked up that call and blew it and loved it while others just cant get it down. especially if you already stuck to a call and your used to it then switching to something that takes more/less air and differents amount of grunting then it can get you all messed up.
