Is the meat grinder like the SMH only poly?

Postby thaner » Tue Jan 24, 2006 7:09 am

I would like to try a SMH but can never find one in my area. Was thinking about trying a meat grinder to see if I liked it and then upgrading to the SMH. I heard the two calls are basically the same but one is acrylic and one is poly. Is this true? Is a meat grinder or some other call the low cost version of he SMH?

I own both, the SMH is my go to call, I started one short reeds with teh meat grinder, it did its job till I graduated to a SMH, basically the same guts but one is acrylic and one is a poly carb, and yes acrylics sound way better than poly carbs, I'd suggest just go for it and buy the SMH instead of spending $60 on a meat grinder than aznother $150 on the SMH
