Field Proven Poly Raptor: Reccommend it?

Postby JuniorPre 360 » Wed Feb 06, 2013 11:02 am

I need a new goose call and I noticed a great deal for a $20 Field Proven Raptor poly. Does anyone own this call? I feel extremely limited with my BG Canada Hammer II. It's a pretty bulky call and I can't get it to crack like other calls seem to do. Is there any compasison between these two calls?

Raptor is probably the best 20$ goose call on the market at the moment hands down. Awesome call, will do anything that your high end acrylics will do and it sounds awesome.

I would highly recommend it. Very easy to use and has a really nasty low end.

Any idea how it compares to the Buck Gardner Canada Hammer II? I feel like it's limited to what itcan do..

I went ahead and had my wife order it for a Valentine's gift for me. I like how Field Proven has put their instructional DVD on youtube (like 20 videos) on how to operate the call. I'm hoping this will be my new go-to call.

Just an update. I really like the call. You can do A LOT more with this than a BG Canada Hammer II (as much as I liked the call). I feel like my goose calling capabilities have doubled from crap to a polished turd. Great call and worth the $20 I paid.
