Nebraska Goose Calling Competition

Scheels All Sports, in Lincoln, Nebraska, will be hosting a goose calling contest, at their annual Hunting Expo, on Saturday, August 17th. The contest will have two divisions: Hunter and Open, with prizes totaling over $2000. Registration for both classes will start at 9:00am Saturday morning, with the Hunter division starting at 10:00am, and the Open division starting around 1:00pm. Also, feel free to bring the kids on Sunday, as there will be a youth ducking calling instructional seminar followed by a contest starting at noon. The youth contest will also be split into novice and advanced classes. Hunter class and all youth contests will be free to all participants, open class will have a $20 entry fee with guaranteed prize to all participants.

Just announced Scheels will also be giving out a new box of Dakota Decoy X-treme canada full bodies and one box of canada floaters as part of the prizes. Also, Ducks Unlimited will be on site fiving away a new shotgun in addition to the new Mathews Creed bow already being drawn for! On Sunday at the kids event any youth who participates in the calling seminar will recieve a free Buck Gardner duck call and gift from DU. Lots of chances to win big and get discounts on your favorite producst at this years Hunting Expo August 17-18
