DRC for me

Postby WWWHunter » Tue Aug 27, 2013 8:07 pm

Hey guys, I have a buddy that runs the life sentence and loves it, but I also have a buddy that runs the short drop and claims it the best call made. Both are great callers. I have tried the life sentence but I haven't used the short drop. Im looking to upgrade from my Foiles, being a MN boy and i think Cory is a pretty good guy I figured I would give one a try. Any suggestions? If so please explain!

Thanks!

Life sentence would be a great "standard"hunting hunting call for MN geese. Get a short drop if you are a confident caller and run traffic or hunt refuge birds at all. I haven't tried a core yet, but i've heard this is the call to have out of his lineup.

Get the MOD and you won't need another call from DRC. Great call with all the range needed for any situation.

Thanks, I think I'll just go check a few of them out at my local hunting store. I'll post anything if I get to try the Core or hear anything.

IMHO, the Short Drop will be the hardest to run if you are just starting out. But, if you learn to run it, game over. My buddy has one and it is sweet! Very fast, a great goosey low end, and very high in pitch

I'm not new to calling, just looking for another call. I'm going to check out the CORE tomorrow. Our local store just got three in.

Tried the new CORE. Super smooth, fast call. Loved the way it felt and the looks of it too. That may be my next purchase!
