Information on goose calls and goose calling tips.

I am trying to tune my goose call and have seen that the reed has notches in it and that makes it hard to slide forward and backward. So if any of you that have this call and have tuned it could you please give me some advice. i want to get a more deeper goosey sound.

i have one but it stays at home im not sure if your gunna get a deeper sound out of it. i would save up and buy a zink sr-1.......Awesome

yeah i do like ZinK to some extent...but if you are looking for a deepr call do not go for them....lol one of my budys bought me a mick lasey from Macks....for like 30$ and it is realy nice....realy deep and throghty noise....it took me one year...and now i am truly realy good wit it...so for 30$ what do you havve to lose.
