Information on goose calls and goose calling tips.

just wanted to get some other opinions on which is: a. easier to learn and b. which will have a consistently lower sound? any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

the giant killer has a lower sound but more and more people are reporting that the geese are responding better to higher pitched calls. im not sure why but the last 2 years the guys that hunt next to us use lower pitched calls and the geese seem to respond better to our calls. we use strait meat honkers and market hunters

I use a Giant Killer and it is definetly a lower pitched call. If you order one from them, do it over the phone and they can tune it up for you. Like earlier said, geese have seemed to like the high pitched calls, but I have noticed that more in the late season.
