FOILES CALLS SMH

Postby kdhitch04 » Wed Mar 07, 2007 2:33 pm

I am looking at a couple calls, I have the paralyzer SR-1, and can blow it very good. But i am looking to get a Foiles in Acrylic, I was wondering if I should go with the Smh which i have also blown, or the market hunter, or high plains honker, LEt me know what you think.

I used to blow a SMH, I don't any more. I just don't like its low hollow sound, no matter how it was tuned it still sounded hollow, and high pitch kills more geese. I think the Meat Grinder sounds better the SMH in Foiles videos. The SMH is also a lot slower then other calls out there. The Market Hunter is faster, but I haven't used one enough to be a good judge of it.

yea stop using my call and buy ur own   .... lol im still working on the conversion from a flute to a short reed, but i think i got it . the calling geese 2.0 really helped me out and the SMH i think is the way to go, unless u want some thing different than from what your buddies blow :umm:

youmust have gotten a defective call because every poly call i have bought from walmart has sounded hollow the SMH it the best sounding call out there. crisp cleans sharp sound and solid construction it gets 5 *'s from me
