Best short reed for not great caller?

Postby Frylock » Mon Dec 16, 2013 9:22 am

I don't do a ton of goose hunting so I'm looking for a call that that'll be forgiving of my sloppy calling. It'd be great if it was a call that'd grow as my abilities do too, but that's not necessary. Opinions? I should add that I'm not looking for a less expensive call or anything, just what'll work for me.

My Foiles SMH is seriously the easiest call I have ever blown.

I agree with this guy, ask Mark to set it up light and ask for a free lesson. He got my daughter up and running in a 15 minute lesson, something I was unable to do over a entire summer. She is 9 and can really run his calls like a adult. I am shocked how much a good tune up on a good call can make such a huge difference. Service and quality over at Gander valley!

Foiles Market Hunter is super easy as well. It takes very little air to run that thing.

So I got a TG Real Thang for Christmas and love it, super easy for me to make sound fairly decent.
