Information on goose calls and goose calling tips.

Anyone blow one of these calls? Just wanted to hear what people feel aboutit before I make the phone call. Want a low volume call for hunting over water. Is the call already high pitched or should I have it tuned higher at the shop? Thanks

I have one in delrin & love it. My only complaint is that it may be too easy to crack (tougher to get a louder moan on) I don't think I would tune it high as that may defeat the purpose of a quiet call. Get the acrylic and it may be a little higher...

I don't own one, but would like to have it. I've tried a buddy's and think it is a perfect call just as it is out of the box. IMO you can't go wrong with any of his calls.

I have one. It seems too quiet to me, BUT not to the geese. I have probably called more geee in with it just using clucks and moans. It is a very good call for over water. It doesn't do a lot of the fancy stuff, but that stuff is not needed over water anyway.
