Call with good low end GOOSE

Postby MOhunter13 » Tue Feb 11, 2014 11:28 am

What call you all use for low end pure GOOSE? I want something FAST with a lower tone to it and that maintains that tone with an easy to achieve low end. I am using a Zink NOS as my primary goose call right now but looking for something a little different. What call would compliment the NOS well?
    Remington 870 Express 20 Gauge=$400
    Duck calls=$120
    Waders=$100

Kind of confusing but a NBN would compliment a NOS well. High pitched but is still pure goose :thumbsup:

IMHO The "Shore Thing" short reed is full of deep end goose.

I have no personal experience with the Big Kahuna by Big Sean Custom Calls, but listening to several sound files, it seems to have a lot of that low end goosey sound. I like the sound of that call.

This would also be a good one to look at also. His BIG's are pretty awesome... His calls are pretty goosey...

He was at the Harrisburg PA. show and I didn't find out till the show was over. Thats not too awful far for me to travel. I would have liked to have heard his calls in person.

pick up a few reads for your zink. Then take a fingernail file and shave more off the already shaved side. Do this a little bit at a time. The bad thing is your reed will wear out quicker but you can allways have a spare in your blind bag. It is a lot cheaper than a new call.
