LMC Bloods guts

Postby jellotree » Sat Apr 12, 2014 2:54 pm

I have a Reaper with green Xfactors in it. It's pretty much the only call I hunt with.

I saw LMC has semi broke in 'Bloods'. I may try these as I generally don't like fully broke in guts like triple crowns or GK OTE. Thought the semi broke in may be worth trying.

Any thoughts on these? How do you like them?

Wouldn't what you have been using be semi broke in?

Depending on how much he uses them or how his call is tuned, they might not be broken in very much. I have had calls come back that guys have had for 5 years and barely had lines in them.

To the OP, we will be changing the bloods soon from a skinny reed to a wide reed as we finally got a wide reed set broken in enough to make them smoother. The old ones have more bottom end and trick note capabilities. The new ones will be more air efficient and have just as much crack as a stock set, but with a smoother sound

Tried the new Bloods in a Closer and Executioner. They are very nice. The trick notes are still pretty easy, and the crack is much better IMO. A very well made/designed gut all around.
