I used a Foiles SMH for a while and started to think it was too easy to blow; it was hard to make more advanced notes because of how little air it took. So I switched to a Grounds Super Mag and thought it took too much air to blow. I don't know anything about tuning a goose call, but what do you think is a good call to use that takes a moderate amount of air to run?
Fill me with your knowledge even if it's offensive
I have a SMH as well, and had the same thought you did. I watched some tuning videos on YouTube and started playing with it until I found a tune I really liked. You might give that a try before you start dancing around all of the other call makers.
Both calls you listed can be tuned to run on just a whispers amount of air.
As mentioned above there are some very good tuning tutorials on youtube,it's not all that hard to do.
Good luck!
