I just ordered a foibles strait Suzy over a week ago. Just got an email yesterday that my order was processed. Talk about a slowwwwww come back lol. He musta been out hunting his ass off. Also, I have a foibles strait meat honker goose call I bought used from someone. I think it's over 10-12 years old. I'm actually sending it in to Jeff to have the guts changed out and be tuned. I'm gonna see if he knows what year it was made.
While he maybe on the comeback trail, is there some contingent of pro-staffers in all these forums posting the same stuff about the same topics to get him back on the map or something? All I see is "shop is open" or "order a call" or some other nonsense. Why in the world anybody would want to support that guy and help him get back on his feet by buying any call of his is beyond me? It's not about second chances or we all make mistakes speech either, so you can save that. Anybody that abuses the resource doesn't deserve any support: go buy somebody else's call, lord knows there's 500 different call makers out there now.
Well I've made mistakes in the past and if it wasn't for second chances I wouldn't be here. If you don't like someone then don't buy or support them. Trying to talk other people out of buying from someone isn't right either. Everyone has their own opinion and everyone is able to buy from who every they want regardless of their past. I don't think what he did was right by any men as but he paid his time and debt so in my book, that's ok with me. Now if he does it again, then I'll think twice about it.
You don't have to like the guy but the bottom line is he makes a great products that has helps thousands of hunters all over. If one of his calls fits your calling style and give you confidence blowing it, than there is no reason not to buy it.

This horse has been beaten about 1,000 x. :hammer: :hammer: :hammer: If you don't like him, don't buy his calls. He's still in business, his older calls are holding value and still put birds in the spread. Thank god he's the only call maker who has ever been on the wrong side of the law. :fingerpt:
This is a very good point. A lot of you might be very surprised at some of the bigger names in waterfowl hunting who have been convicted of game violations or given amnesty for testimony against others.
IDK, he seems like a good guy, his facepaint looks amazing while hes cooking......
