Sean Mann makes the best snow call IMO. Get it in the Express or Acrylic, depending on your wallet.

Can't help you on specs...only see them in big numbers when they tag along with snows on the way back up.

Snows or Specks best would probably be Redbone IMO. I have a Redbone Speck that I love. I also make my own Speck and Honker calls so I am kinda partial  and only use my calls now. Clent

"Best" depends on a lot of things. I favor RNTs with modified reeds for specks and voice call blues, but most with our outfit are now running James Meyers' speck call, and the only mechanical blue call I've ever mistook for the real deal was one James built and was running.

For specks, Im gonna have to go with basin calls, the ricer sounds awesome and the new speck crusher might make it on my lanyard for next, also the rnt specktackler is a great cheap call, as far as snows i cant help you out sorry

I just picked up a tundra saver, my first snow call. Take my oppinion for what its worth. I like the call, takes a bit of air, and it is hard just to blow into a call to get the right sound out of it.

did you survive the sticker shock... 200.00

for what its worth a guide buddy ordered 3 and never got a one all season..

Dave at Basin is really helpful and there call will kill specks hands down.
its really easy to run too, and a side note... the crusher if you go lighter it is a
awsome snow call too. takes some practice but it can rip on them too...

That is odd...my kids ordered mine three weeks before Christmas, and gave it to me on Christmas day.

James Meyers, JJ Lares and Basin all make really nice speck calls. Redbones are also very nice but very pricey. It all depends on the amount of money you're willing to spend and how much time your willing to invest in learning how to operate the call. Basin,Meyers and Lares all offer calls under $125.00.
