I Can't get a sound

I bought a new short reed goose call a few days back and i can't get a good sound out of it. i have had help from a great caller but i still can't make the right sound. I would like to know how to make that goosy noise tips and tecniuques would be greatly aprecatied

Buy the dave smith breakthrough dvd. it is the best movie i hear for learning to call.

Shawn STahls honker talk instructional video is a must. It will make you cluck and sound like a goose instantly.

Did ya try holding it with your middle and pointer finger over the hole? Helps ya build up back pressure.

I've heard it takes five years to be a decent caller. I have been calling for 10 years and seriously for 3. For me it was time and practice but one day it all clicked. Videos will help you a lot. I found take a piece from eack video and don't try to just imitate one person; we all call differently. Start with the basics and take your time; a simple cluck will get you a lot of success. Keep practicing its worth it!!!!!!!!
