I just started goose calling and I'm doing pretty well, I think. I am, however, having problems at times where the low note before the break will go through 2 different notes (lowest then higher) before breaking over. This is on a Buck Gardner Canada Hammer 2. Any suggestions?
By far I'm no expert but I do experience that exact thing from time to time. Best I can tell its from blowing too softly into the call. It needs to be blown with authority so to speak even when wanting to keep the call quite, I'm sure it has something to do with the air your putting in not being pressurized correctly
Make sure you are pushing air into the call not blowing into the call. The air comes from your diaphragm not your cheeks, like it would if you were blowing a flute.
