looks really nice, great job on the bill and head detail ! Tail feathers are a bit over the top, but a nice bit of flair !!

How did you make the head and neck, that always seemed to be a problem in keeping in light enough so it won't cause the decoy to roll over, especially in rough water.

What is it made of? Looks good to me. A couple things if you're after a real bird look. A real, healthy bird doesnt have such ragged feathers like you have on the wing tips. They spend a long time making sure they dont look like that. I'd also work on the head to body connection making the transition a bit smoother, or is it a doweled head that can be removed?

Looks great! Looks like the head'neck is storebought? Looks plastic. If you carved it, you are good! Love the flight feather detail.

sorry to post this so late, been tied up with personal things. To answer some of the posts on this - the head was made from foam and mastic and is removable and movable. I appreciate the feedback i got and thx to everyones input. The head also has a 3/4 pvc pipe up through it and it goes down through the body and i use the end of it to tie my line and anchor to it. you may see the pipe in the pic if you look close.
