My buddy thinks silo socks are the way to go...

Postby Goose Doctors » Tue Feb 05, 2013 11:44 pm

Right now we have about 60 shells to hunt over. My buddy wants to buy "deadly decoy" silo socks. I think itd be better to just invest in some more shells with flocked heads or actual sillhouettes. I'd really like your guys opinion??

Deadlys will work. Buy whatever you can afford, store, and transport.

I do like a little motion in the decoys........ Do you have enough breeze to move the socks/shells.At my X, I get very little wind at killing time so I tend to like the shells as you can either set them directly on the ground,or on stakes. I've kicked around the idea of placing a few socks on the interior of my spread, just never have tried it.
