Snow sillosocks

Postby wjarrell » Sat Feb 23, 2013 11:01 pm

I'm looking at getting some snow decoys for next year. I'm leaning towards the economy sillosocks specifically. My question is are they as good as the standard sillos? Can you paint or draw the black on the body without the paint chipping? Or do you suggest a different brand of sock?

cut a stencil, spray paint the socks, and kill birds. They work.

Econos work fine, building your own stencil is a piece of cake. But depends on how many you are buying. Putting them together is a pain if its anymore than 20dozen, but it can still be done.

My suggestion is if you are going that route put them together put them in the ground on a semi windy day and paint a x on the back while they are full of air.

They now sell headless sillos for cheap than the normal sillos also.

Good luck!
