okay so im new to goose hunting in a field and I was wandering about motion decoys, do motion decoys work good for geese or not, ive heard it will flare them and haven't heard much about them and im looking into buying some goose decoys, just looking on tips about goose motion decoys?

By the time they reach the lower 48, most geese seem to know that spinning wing decoys mean guns. Otherwise, while some motion in the spread may help, I've found it easier to have too much than too little and would stick with something like flagging that's easily controlled.
If you think I'm wrong, you might be right.

Ya may consider a few shell decoys on motion stakes. A little movement can/will look realistic, but too much decoy movement can hurt.
