gluing feathers to decoys

Postby Honk-n-quack » Fri Dec 27, 2013 11:39 am

I have some goose decoys with poor paint. Instead of painting them I was thinking of skinning real birds and gluing the skin onto the decoy and then just touching up the black and white. What do you guys think?

It rubs the glue on its skin. It does this whenever it is told.

that cracks me up.

All that said, I do not think the feathers would hold up all too well but I have never tried it so am unsure. Send us some pictures when you get it done.

Try it. Turkey hunters do use real fans. Post pictures of your end product.
