Big Flock Silhouettes

Postby Ilovesidebysides » Tue Feb 11, 2014 9:06 am

Howdy all.
I just grabbed a couple dozen of these for $80. I don't run a big spread (the silo's take me up to five dozen), but it's big enough for where I hunt usually. I got these just to fill out my shell's and FB's.
Just wondering what everyone thinks of them, or if any of you guys have hunted over them? They seems a bit small, and the stakes are pretty cheap looking (plastic), but I figured at $40 for a dozen, it was a good deal.
Thanks for any thoughts.

They can be bad on sunny days as they are a bit shiny some times. but you got a deal on them.

Only use them on cloudy days. I sold mine for that reason. They are pretty light and shine with the sun pretty bad or the ones I had did.

Is there something I can spray them with to help with that, or are they literally ONLY cloudy day decoys?

a flat acrylic matte, but it might now stick if they are smooth. I don't know.

I used them (Canadas) for a few years but replaced them with Big Al's a couple of years ago. They seemed to work well, but I liked the size, stakes, pattern of the Big Al's better. I still have 4 dozen of the whites.
Here is a pic of some in the field with a mix of RGII
