Anyone seen the new full body and floater Speck decoys? There on there Facebook page just wondering what everyone thought about them.

The photos I've seen make them look more China made, ie: like a cheap decorative decoy, than ever. (Whether the floaters will be more watertight than their predecessors remains to be seen.)

Was really hoping the would hit a home run with the new decoys but it doesn't look to be the case. I guess it's dsd and blue collar for specks

let's hope the Specks aren't as critical as you guys are!
Perhaps they will glare in the sun, and all can be forgiven?

Hope all you want, but down on this end of the flyway I've seen finishing specks push hard off a single DSD or two and flare across the blind enough times to be certain some of them are mighty tough to fool. And I want to fool 'em all.

The old saying that "A young Speck will decoy into a Volkwagon in a pea field" may have been a bit of an exageration, but not much!
Now we're talking Pacific flyway geese of 50 years ago, can't say about the super educated birds of today.

There are those of us here who prefer to hunt with no decoys when the situation is such that it's not easy for to birds to see there's nothing on the ground and decoys aren't needed to draw eyes away from poorly hidden hunters. Nothing for them to pick apart, and they come with necks craning to find the source of a teasing call.

I think GHG is better off with the original specks rather than the new pro grades. I don't need anymore speck decoys now but when the time comes to get new decoys I doubt I will be buying these.

Funny thing about decoys....as the price raises the quality and durability diminish.
