Which Floaters

Postby cmelik10 » Sun Sep 18, 2005 3:03 pm

Okay I am going to buy a 4pack of goose floaters this week, the only problem I am not sure which ones to get. I am looking at G&H, Final Approach and Big Foots. The FA and the Bigfoots look alittle dark to me but I have never seen them in person. Since the price is realitively the same for all of them I just have to decide which ones. What decoys would you guys recommend.

I am too looking for goose floaters too, I was thinking of Big Foots or GHG but I am going with Big Foots. they look great like the full bodies but if you say they look dark and havent look at them up close, I suggest you to check them out and they look darn good. good luck this fall

Tell you what, i bought 12 new Avery Greenhead Gear floaters, and hunted them the other day. It was almost no fair. I love them and plan on buying another 4-8 after december. I have hunted over bigfoots and g&h, but these are the best. They look great and they are the right size. Anyway thats my .02 cents.

Guys..........I almost hate to say this..........and if you have some type of boat........disregard this. I have foots and GHG.....and I love and I mean dearly love my GHG, but for all out durability and a lil bit lighter.....go Foots.

GREENHEADGEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i just bought 4 more.. i'll agree the bigfoots are nice and they probally hold up a bit better, but thats just because they have the cheap dull look to them.. they are already worn out when you buy them...

THE GEESE DON"T CARE!!!!!!

I use 12yr old carrylites painted strait black with a white patch on the cheek. They got a brain the size of an acorn....do you really think they can tell between different shades of gray.
