Ducks for Upland in or around Oklahoma

Postby BadlabinBville » Tue Oct 10, 2006 2:08 pm

My buddy and I have dogs, decs, and a boat with a blind. We have 1200 acres of private property off the Verdigris River with ponds and permanant blinds on them, plus access and knowledge of several lakes in NE OK.

I live in Wagoner Oklahoma and im looking to kill some ducks. My father and i are avid hunters and duck hunt quite often. Lately however we could not kill a duck if it landed in the boat. We just cant find them. I looking to swap a hunt, and you sound like you might have what im looking for. We have 8000 acres leased in osage county that has quail all over it. e-mail me if interested at paulmuz@go.com thanks.

I was raised in Osage County and there are tons of both if you know where to go.

Sorry Guys,

Cheyene Bottoms is locked up right now. The last cold front iced over almost the entire marsh. You can check the KDWP website for future updates. If we get some warm weather it might thaw out, but I wouldn't count on it.

I had a buddy from Wisconsin who was going to come hunt this month with me, but we had to cancel due to the ice. Maybe next year.

By the way, the bottoms is located in the middle of Kansas.
