A couple of years back I hunted Seminole with my dad - found scaup, ruddy's, ringers, canvasback, gadwall, teal, and some other puddle ducks out there.
My dad & I were targeting cans and got them after 1 scouting trip and 1 morning hunt. It was an awesome experience to have them coming thru the decoys in flocks of 15-50. We each shot our drake and watched them fly around for a bit.
Go look around some - there are a lot of areas that hold birds out there.
You could also go and hit the gulf coast for the redheads, buffleheads, scaup, and even some goldeneyes.
You are in a pretty good hunting area.
