Kentucky Pond Duck Hunt

Postby kydrake » Fri May 22, 2009 6:32 am

Just wanting to have some fun. I will take anyone hunting on my pond out of my floater or coffin blinds for a hunt within reasonable distance of KY.

How far are you willing to travel? How about a trip to Florida to hunt divers in short sleeves and sun glasses :D

How about a field duck / goose hunt in E. Central IL? We kill lots of geese and a few Mallards. We only got skunked 3-5 times last year (out of 50ish hunts) so the odds of killing a limit is pretty good! I have family that lives in Bowling Green, Scottsville, and Lexington and it would be good to get that way...

Here is a couple pictures from last years season. Not the best but they are easy to view. If you can be flexible I can get you here during peak migration.

2/3 of this clip (first scenes were not) were shot on my ground. This DVD actually just came out for sale!

kydrake,
any chance you would want to trade for a guntersville diver duck hunt in N alabama? Or a beaver pond duck hunt with about 400 to 500 woodies, 30 to 40 mallards, some teal, and hooded mergansers that all come in a 30 minute window? Or I will be in NE arkansas the 10 days before christmas, and for 2 weeks after christmas hunting a private rice field and public flooded timber that we have been hunting every year for about 8 years. Im in college and am going to spend all of my christmas break hunting that area and maybe working my way North from there into missouri kentucky and Northern tennessee.

Kydrake, I might be have a small hunting trip for you. I live in Butler co., ky and its not very far from you. I plan on flooding some of our corn fields next year or obtaining a lease. Ill let u know when it gets closer to season what is going on and maybe we can get together and trade a couple hunts. I am in college and our winter break is almost 6 weeks long and all of it is during duck season so I can hunt almost anytime!
