Snow Snow Goose report for Quill lakes region Saskatchewan

Postby karl Berger » Thu Sep 09, 2010 8:14 am

Heading up north next weekend for our annual hunt. Spoke with good friend who lives in the Quill lake region and he said no snow have moved into area???? The area if full of water and alot of crops are still in or were not planted due to heavy spring rains!! The good news is Ducks are all over the place. Looking for any reports of any snows in or around the Quill lakes or Saskatoon area thanks.

you know those fields you mentioned. you gotta head south about 30 miles, then take the first main right. it has a light, you cant miss it. go down about 5 minutes and look to your left. that is where ALL the birds are.

if you want help with an area try the local board or pms. cyber scouting gets you flamed.

grow up aggiechiro....

haven't heard any reports from the quills area but I do know that the specks have begun moving into the west central part of the province. no snows as of yet but they are usually quick to follow. the biggest problem will be finding harvested fields to hunt. plenty of water but not many clean fields to hunt right now which could lead to a lot of competetion for those if the harvest doesnt pick up. a little drier weather and hopefully that will change in the next few weeks. check this link for crop reports. http://www.agriculture.gov.sk.ca/crprpt100909

Yea, grow up. You're a meany head butt face. Ohh BTW if you have a friend in that area and they say there are not any snows in the area, why post in here to ask the same question? Aggie is correct, cyber-scouting will get you flamed. Scaup3, you say grow up but you created an account just to tell him to grow up and then assist a cyber scouter that already had his answer before he even posted in here. Real mature.
