Been flying north past us for two weeks by the thousands! Still many more south of us. Buddies killed a truckload in Arkansas this morning. The cold weather will probably push them right back south!
Maybe push the young ones south but probably not going to affect the elderly birds. Buddies told me they are scattered all over. IL, MO, and AR. Usually they are only thick in arkansas by this time. I'm sure the ones I want to shoot are in AR, TX, and LA right now. Good luck to everyone. Keep the reports coming.
Saw 1 very lost juvy on the Green River in western Wyoming yesterday. Too bad Wyoming's Pacific Flyway doesn't have a season since he swam right into my duck/Canada decoys from across the river and hung out for a bit.
Unless it has changed they do have a snow geese season. Starts around March 1. We used to go to Torrington Wy. Was a great hunt They raft up on Bump Sillivan Res. Several people guide over there for them.
