Where's the Before and After School Warriors?

Postby luie b » Mon Dec 12, 2011 10:08 pm

People talk about the "weekend warriors" all the time but I think the people who hunt before and after school are the real troopers. Almost everyday I keep all my gear in my truck and the decoys in the back and me and my friend go out for basically a one hour hunt by the time we get out there and get everything set up. I kind of like the challenge of trying to kill a bird in that short of a time frame because it's really an accomplishment to have a short succesful hunt like that.

ha screw keeping my decoys and stuff in my truck! some koons would have that stuff cleaned out in seconds.

but I ususaly go after school at my farm, luckily my house is on the way and i can back up to my side of the garage and throw all my stuff in and go! its nice not having my truck fit in the garage sometimes, gives me a place to put all my hunting stuff for easy access.
