taking my daughter duck hunting next year.....

Funny thing about it, she actually asked me to go! So my question is, she is 10 years old and wants to bring her bb gun with her. I am pretty sure that this is going to be a legal nightmare, but is there any law on her having a bb gun in a blind? Oh, we are out here in California, so I am almost certain that this could result in 5-10 years in a federal prison and endangering a minor..... hahaha!

Call your local DNR or Game warden or whatever california has for recreational law enforcement. ask them about it they will tell you what you need to do to be legal. Here in Michigan i dont belive an air powered rifle counts as a weapon but you still need a hunting licence to shoot anything with it unless your on private property. you also have to be 10 and have a legal adult with them.
