A throwline is where you take a heavy line and put 3 or 4 hooks on a overhand knot and bait it with worms or stink shad (bait fish) and throw it out and wait 2 or 3 hours comeback and pull the fish off go home clean em' and eat em'! :lol3:

I gotcha, I mainly set trot lines and bush hooks, about 2 times a week. I just wasnt real sure what a throw line was. It sounds like a mini trot line kinda. I've heard of em but no one around here uses that. I might have to try it out. A few extra hooks can help. Im pretty much obsessed with bush hooks and trotlines. Caught a 55 lb blue cat about 2 weeks ago
