EARLY TEAL SEASON-NEBRASKA

Postby marshmanjr » Sat Sep 09, 2006 8:26 am

Today was the opening day of early teal season and it was fast as usual. We set about 18 mallard decoys in our private wetland and had teal landing in them 30 minutes before shooting time. When shooting time started we were shooting faster than we could reload. In 15 minutes we had a limit and were out of there. By the time we were halfway to the truck there were already ducks in the water. THEY WERE EVERYWHERE! It was a great hunt and i cant wait to get back out again tomorrow.
if at first you dont suceed ..... RELOAD!!!!!

Today we went out again and sat in the same spot with the same amount of decoys. It was a little bit slower than yesterday but we killed a limit in about an hour.

Little late on this post, but 3 early teal hunts gave me three limits.
