I blow my SMH and High plains honker, on average we get around 80 geese, thats over the last 4 years, but we have been shooting a lot more this year, up to 42 right now, 4 days into early season.

when i hunt, i use a RNT short barrel and i bring a faulks wa-11 along, and for geese, i have a zink pc-1. We only shoot around 10 honkers a year though, since we only hunt for ducks over water, but if geese come over us, we shoot.

Matthews custom calls all the way for me. my first post was wen i first got started in callin and i didnt really know wat i thought i did. I can now speak the "language" and have turned geese on a dime in the early season. im also gettin pretty good on ducks too and am beginning to acquire the skill of readin the birds and knowing wat call to blow. It all comes with practice, time, and other ppl who really know wat there talkin about

I have a wingsetter for mostly drake mallard and widgon

Primos High Roller for teal and pintail

Big River canada call, long flute. Iam proud to say I have tottaly mastered this call.

Buck Gardener Tall Timber II, good for feeding call and short quacks.

And I bought a $100 aluminaum Edge duck call at the International Sportsman Expo in Sactramento this last weekend. It is a great all around call and worked great out in the feild.
