Cool Friends

Postby AlaskaRedneK » Tue Apr 05, 2005 6:27 pm

Hey Guys, If you are ever as lucky as I was to find such an awsome girl, dont let her get away!

This is my way "Diggy Wiggy" friend Britt. I was able to con her into going shooting w/me and my Homies this last Jan. (yes, i just said homies, get over it)

I told her she could just watch, and she didnt have to shoot. But then once we got there, we told her we were just gonna sit there if she wouldnt let us theach her to shoot. (ahh, what nice friends we are  )

Here she is:

Keep in mind at this time it was about 0 degrees F. (she had to wear 3 coats! )

She actually did quite well for a first time shooter, not even considering the weather

I'll be "honest" she shot dang near, or more clays, than I did. (what, the cartrige co. probbably forgot to add the shot in, it happens)

Just thought I'd share that lil piece of advice.

Rockin' Pancakes,

My brother and I have done that for a few ladies too. His girlfriend, who somewhat dislikes guns in general may be getting a .410 some day soon. She liked it so much...I can't say I'd ever seen a face like that on her! (maybe he has? :toofunny: ) On that day we had three other girls with us, the other two absolutely loved it. All who shot did quite well for beginners. We just gave them cans to shoot. One will accompany us to deer camp this year, one who absolutely loved the .22 revolver we'd brought along, and one who absolutely refused. After she did, we didnt push it. She may however, accompany us on some stalking trips or a bowhunt this fall. Somwhat of a successful trip. It's always fun to introduce people to hunting!

But anyways, good job...... just make sure you are "absolutely sure" that her dad is cool w/this.................... I know that dads can tend to get kinda uneasy when their daughter is w/ a boy, especially when he has guns
